Italian X-Scream! Mussel and Linguine Pasta to Blow your mind!

Who doesn't love pasta and chillies right? Throw in some seafood and Mrs Bongo is yours forever!

You will need:

1 x onion finely diced

2-3 cloves of garlic diced

200g of cooked Mussels unshelled

olive oil

knob of butter

half glass of white wine (drink other half whilst cooking)

4 fresh tomatoes chopped

green French beans chopped

salt and pepper

flat leaf parsley chopped

X-Scream Chilli Crush (we used 2 tsp but entirely up to you!)

Method:

PUT YOUR PASTA WATER ON TO BOIL FIRST- this is a quick meal!

Part A:

Boil your pasta for 2 mins under the recommended time on the packet whilst you do part B!!!!

(Bongo put his pasta in at the same time as he added his crush (#4 in part B)

Part B

1. Melt butter and oil in pan

2. Add onions and cook for 2 mins

3. Add garlic and a pinch of salt, cook until soft but not brown.

4. Add 2 x tsp X-Scream Chilli Crush (or MORE!) stir for a minute.

X-Scream going in!  

5. Add tomatoes and green beans to pan, medium heat. Stir and cook for around 3-5 mins so the beans are still al dente

6. Add the mussels and the wine - turn heat down to simmer for 2 mins. Do not over cook- your meal is almost ready! 

7. Add the slightly undercooked pasta to the pan, Stir and simmer for 2 mins

8. Season with salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with your chopped parsley. 

9. EAT AND ENJOY! Serve immediately with some beautiful fresh bread for mopping and a chilled glass of white wine!
