As summer is nearly over (what summer right?) it's nearly time to go to our first ever Nantwich Food And Drink Festival at the beginning of September...

This is an extremely well regarded festival in the foodie community and practically on our back doorstep so as you can imagine we're really looking forward to it.

It runs from 4th - 6th September and is jam packed with food producers, music, chefs and crazy events. It really does seem like it's going to be a huge extravaganza of foodie heaven!

On Sunday there's even a Critter Chomp Challenge in aid of the Nantwich Food Bank, where 12 foodies get to sample the best critters around and test their resolve! Mrs Bongo is a volunteer for it and she's raising money for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice! You can sponsor her here:

This festival there are chef demos from Brian Mellor, Mark Lees, Zalena Vandrewala , Chris Burt and Lajina Leal so you can come and get some recipes off the experts!
